We’ve been looking at Jesus through the eyes of a child during the season of Lent using The Jesus Storybook BIble by Sally Lloyd-Jones. We have a wonderful display of art by our kids on display representing each of the stories of Jesus we’ve talked about.
We look forward to finishing the series during Holy Week with three more stories. Childcare is available at all of the following services except 7am Easter morning.
April 18, 7:00 p.m.
Maundy Thursday is a time to remember Jesus’s last supper with the disciples and his final “mandate” to love one another, which he demonstrated by washing their feet. This service will include a hand washing and communion as we remember together the story of The Servant King.
April 19, 7:00 p.m.
Good Friday commemorates Jesus’ death on the cross. Our service this year will take us through the seven last phrases Jesus uttered as he faced certain death. This somber service asks us to reflect on the magnitude of The Day the Sun Stops Shining.

Come ready to celebrate God’s Wonderful Surprise as we worship the Risen King on Easter Sunday! We’ll have our usual four services plus a 7am sunrise service. If you would like to start your morning at 7am, bring your own chair, and join us at the pavilion for a sweet time of worship. The chapel will be our “plan b” if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
